The Grace of God

We are all winding down here in Ghana. It's hard to believe that we only have a couple of days left for school ministry here. As of noon (local time) on Monday 04 October we have shared the gospel with 130 different groups and have seen 26,929 people indicate their own, first-time decisions for Christ. This has been only by the grace of God!

This ministry team has functioned very well together. Both Nick Ollila and Andy Poe have done outstanding jobs in presenting the Gospel clearly with both passion and anointing. I am always thankful to see lay people step out of their comfort zones and engage in Kingdom work.

My friend, ministry partner, and colleague Jeff Andler has, as always, done an excellent job and proved to be a blessing to me. I am so very grateful that God has joined our two hearts together in this ministry in Africa.

As my mind begins to turn toward home I am studying Acts 8:26-40 as I prepare to preach at Grace on Sunday morning. Constance, in his book on Acts, reminds us

"Men’s doctrines, creeds and philosophies divide, but the gospel of Jesus Christ unites all people."

I have witnessed this marvelous truth over and over again. This truth is not only true on the foreign field. It is equally true where you are today. I am praying that your love for the Lord Jesus will cause you to be an evangelist. Be one today, right where you are.
